Wren Carter is an illustrator based in Baltimore, Maryland, originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are earning their BFA in Illustration at Maryland Institute College of Art. They work both digitally and traditionally, using different mediums such as watercolor, acrylics, markers, and collage, often combining them. They are passionate about art as a form of communication for subjects like ecology, identity, culture, and storytelling. They are influenced by the natural world and their childhood in Minneapolis. Their work consists of bright colors, a variety of textures, and a general whimsy.  When not scribbling, they like napping, drinking tea, and scrolling Wikipedia.
